TY - DATA T1 - Upward Shortwave Irradiance at the Thule High Arctic Atmospheric Observatory (THAAO_USI) AU - Meloni, Daniela AU - Di Sarra, Alcide AU - Di Iorio, Tatiana AU - Pace, Giandomenico AU - Muscari, Giovanni AU - Iaccarino, Antonio AU - Calì Quaglia, Filippo DO - 10.13127/THAAO/USI UR - https://www.thuleatmos-it.it/dataaccess/USI AB - Downward-looking radiometers have been installed on July 2016 to collect the upward component of the SW and LW irradiances. Eppley PSP pyranometer and PIR pyrgeometer are located about 100 m West of THAAO on a metal frame at about 2.3 m agl. Electronic levels monitor any possible deviation from the horizontal in the North-South and Est-West directions. See https://www.thuleatmos-it.it/instruments/radiometers for additional details. Radiometers are not ventilated. Data are recorded with a 30 second time step and are used to calculate hourly means and standard deviations. Regular calibrations allow our team to monitor changes of the sensitivity with time. Quality checks are perfomed based on tests recommended for sensors enrolled in the Baseline Surface Radiation Network (BSRN).
